Tigers look to bounce back after tough loss to UCLA
OMAHA, Ne- The LSU baseball team came into this year's College World Series with one of the most feared offenses. However, the Tigers didn't hit the way they're accustomed to in Sunday's loss against UCLA.
Much of the credit has to go to great pitching by the Bruins. Starter Adam Plutko gave up just one earned run on a home-run by Tiger Slugger Mason KAtz. Other Tigers hit the ball hard but had nothing to show for it.
The dissapointing offense made the dissapointing defense look even worse. Errors by Ty Ross and Alex Bregman were enough to help UCLA sneak away with the 2-1 win. Click on the video to hear more from Sports 2's Michael Cauble and the Tigers on the performance.
