Tigers hold shaky 3-0 lead over Arkansas after 1st quarter
The LSU Tigers have forced two turnovers and overcome some poor tackling to hold onto a three point lead over Arkansas in the regular season finale in Fayetteville after one period of play.
Arkansas has over 104 yards of total offense compared to LSU's 45, and the Hogs have certainly been the more impressive team moving the ball down the field.
However Dennis Johnson fumbled the ball at the three yard line and LSU's Chancey Agyhare recovered for the stop.
Later Hog's quarterback Tyler Wilson was picked off by Tharold Simon for the Tigers, and following three plays and only eight yards of progress LSU kicker Drew Alleman nailed a 49 yard field goal to give the Tigers the 3-0 lead.
