Tigers face Bearkats in winners bracket game Saturday night at 7pm
The LSU Tiger baseball team will play Sam Houston St. in the winners bracket game on Saturday night at 7 p.m. in the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional.
The Tigers advanced with a 11-7 win over Jackson St. in the first game of the day. The Sam Houston St. Bearkats took out second seeded UL Lafayette 4-2 in the second game of the day.
It will be a 1 vs. 3 seeded contest, eliminating the potential for an early meeting of the I-10 rival Cajuns and Tigers.
