BATON ROUGE- Applications are available for the new suites and club seats in Tiger Stadium's South End Zone expansion.
The 60 Tiger Den Suites and 3000 Stadium Club seats will be awarded to fans who request them on a priority point basis.
A donation of $69,000 is required per season for Suites and $2,300 per club seat.
That money goes to the Tiger Athletic Foundation, which spreads their donations across all LSU sports.
"Football generates a lot of revenue, but we have other sports that don't generate as much revenue and so it will also be used to help some other sports where the money is not as readily available," said Rick Perry, Senior Vice President of TAF.
The donations could generate about $11 million in donations per season.
Perry says that money could go to improve LSU's Gymnastics practice facilities, build an indoor tennis facility and construct locker rooms for LSU's Championship Track team.
The expansion will also allow LSU to move visiting fans to the new upper deck seats.
"One of the goals was of course to try and move some of the visiting fans in the south end zone so that we could free up some seats for some Tiger fans in the lower bowl," said Perry.
LSU might also offer standing room only tickets for popular games once the expansion is complete.
If you'd like to apply for seats visit TAF's website for more information.
