Tiger pitcher Glenn suspended for Regional play
LSU head baseball coach Paul Mainieri announced that sophomore pitcher Cody Glenn has been suspended from play for the Baton Rouge Regional and will not be able to play over the next four days due to a violation of team rules.
Glenn developed into a starting SEC pitcher for LSU after working his way up from a midweek starters role. He has a 3-2 record in nine appearances with a 3,75 ERA with wins in his last three starts.
Glenn was not placed on the Tigers' 27-man active roster for the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional.
"Cody will not be on the active roster for the regional this weekend," Mainieri said. "Should we advance to the next round of the NCAA Tournament, Cody's status will be evaluated next week and a determination will be made concerning his return to the active roster."
