Tiger hoops beats Alabama 68-56 at SEC Tournament
The LSU Tiger basketball team got a total team effort and some impressive performances off the bench in their 68-56 win over Alabama at the SEC basketball tournament.
The second round win for the Tigers advances the team to the quarterfinals Friday with a match-up against the Kentucky Wildcats.
Friday's 6:00 p.m. tip-off will be the third time these two teams have met this season, each teams has one win in the series in the regular season.
Freshman guard Tim Quarterman came off the bench and exploded for the Tigers scoring a career high 12 points in twelve minutes of play. Four LSU player scored in double figures led by Shavon Coleman who had 15 points.
