BATON ROUGE- LSU fans doled out plenty of green today to see the purple and gold in Dallas.

The Tiger faithful picked up last-minute supplies for the 550-mile road trip to Cowboys Stadium.

Some fans spared no expense and rented a luxury RV for the trip.

"Compared to other weekends it's even more excitement. It's the first game and people love making a road trip," Tammy Vince, with The RV Store, said.

Most fans told News 2 they plan to leave Thursday or Friday for the game. LSU takes on Oregon on Saturday at 7 p.m.
