Tiger baseball run rules Tulane 14-1 in 8 innings
The LSU Tiger baseball team jumped on Tulane early and subsequently were able to end their night early with a 14-1 run rule game that was called in the eighth inning.
The Tigers lead 5-0 after the first inning and never trailed in the contest despite what appeared to be a couple of Green Wave rallies throughout the game.
First baseman Mason Katz led the Tigers at the plate finishing the night 3 of 4 with four RBI and shortstop Alex Bregman continued his smoking hot streak with a 4 for 4 night and 3 runs scored.
LSU will travel to Columbia Missouri to face the Tigers in the three game SEC series that starts Friday evening.
