Tickfaw woman arrested on intent to distribute marijuana
TICKFAW - Deputies in Livingston Parish arrested a woman after seizing 25 grams of marijuana and nearly $9,000 in cash from her Tickfaw residence Thursday.
Agents with the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office executed a narcotics-related search warrant Thursday at the residence of Brittany S. Skinner. Agents found 25 grams of high-grade marijuana, worth nearly $500, $8700 in cash, weighing scales and a semi-automatic handgun.
"Through further investigation by my team, we learned Skinner is unemployed and uses the sale of illegal narcotics as income," Sheriff Jason Ard said.
Skinner was booked on charges of possession with the intent to distribute Schedule I drugs and convicted felon in possession of a firearm. Her bond was set at $100,000.
