BATON ROUGE - Tickfaw State Park will remain closed until Monday due to the rising water level of the Tickfaw River.
The Office of State Parks predicts Tickfaw River will crest at 14 feet tonight, Wednesday evening.
The high water is impacting the park's entrance, campground, trails, and threatening the main road of the park.
Guests with overnight reservations should have been contacted by Louisiana State Parks or ReserveAmerica.
Visitors can call 877-226-7652 with any questions on Tickfaw State Park's status.
