Tickets on sale Tuesday for BR-hosted Miss USA
BATON ROUGE - Tickets for the 2015 Miss USA pageant go on sale Tuesday.
Sales to the general public start at 11 a.m., although, people with a special code can start ordering now. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster. Miss USA returns to Baton Rouge for the second time on Sunday, July 12th at 7 p.m. Like last year, the event will be broadcast on NBC.
Candice Bennatt will represent Louisiana on the stage. Bennatt is from New Orleans and is currently studying law at Loyola where she is focusing on patent and trademark law.
The primetime event is at the River Center. There will be various events leading up to the live competition.
"There is always a genuine feeling of true hospitality when visiting Baton Rouge. We have created an incredible partnership with the city," Paula M. Shugart, president of the Miss Universe Organization, said in a post on the city's visitor's bureau blog.
Tickets to the telecast range from $75 to $150 for second-level seating. Floor seating, where you are more likely to be captured on camera as a member of the audience, start at $200.00. The most expensive ticket appears to be $250.00. All prices exclude fees, which could be a little less than $20.
