Three workers safe after scaffolding falls at OLOL
BATON ROUGE - Three construction workers briefly dangled from scaffolding at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital this morning, according to the Baton Rouge Fire Department.
Curt Monte with BRFD said they were uninjured, and brought to safety before rescue crews arrived on scene.
Hospital spokeswoman Kelly Zimmerman said the three men were working outside the building installing a window when something caused the scaffolding to fall.
She said one was pulled to safety through the open window, and the two others were pulled over the top of the building to safety.
Officials are unsure at this time what caused the scaffolding to fall, but the three workers were wearing safety harnesses.
