Three found dead, fourth shot in Cajun country
BREAUX BRIDGE - Deputies discovered a bloody crime scene after responding to a domestic disturbance call Tuesday night.
Three people were found shot to death and a fourth was found alive after being shot. The victims were identified as 58-year-old Clifford Blanchard, 72-year-old Leola Blanchard and three-year-old Ashlynn Blanchard. The fourth person suffered critical injuries and remains hospitalized.
The shooting happened on La Rue Angelle.
KATC TV, the area's ABC affiliate, reported on its website deputies are not looking for a suspect. The case is still under investigation.
The shooting happened outside the city, about 51 miles west of Baton Rouge.
