Three fires worked by firefighters Monday evening
BATON ROUGE- Firefighters were busy Monday evening, dealing with three separate fires. Two of the fires occurred at homes that were abandoned.
The first fire was reported at an empty house near the airport on Elm Grove Garden. Electrical lines near the house were singed and fell to the ground.
Less than two hours later, a house on Foster Road caught on fire. Multiple departments were dispatched to fight the flames, which were jumping out of the roof when firefighters arrived. The house was also abandoned.
Then, around 8 o'clock Monday night, the third home erupted in flames. It took firefighters about thirty minutes to get the fire under control at the house on Tall Oaks Court.
All three fires are under investigation.
