Three cyclists injured in hit and run
BATON ROUGE- Troopers with Louisiana State Police are looking for a hit and run driver. Three cyclists were run over Monday night on Nicholson Drive near Innovation Park Drive.
Troopers say the cyclists were riding south on Nicholson around 9 p.m. when they were hit from behind. All three cyclists were hurt, one has serious injuries.
Witnesses told Troopers, a red 4-door Nissan Frontier struck the cyclists, and drove away.
Investigators say the vehicle will likely have damage to the front end and possibly the passenger side.
The accident remains under investigation. Anyone with information should contact Louisiana State Police Troop A at 225-764-8500.
