Three charged with stealing innocence of country living
WATSON- Livingston Parish Sheriff's deputies arrested three people in a burglary ring where as many as 30 vehicles were hit by thieves this week.
Racey Ford, Jacob Anderson and Michael Terrell face burglary and resisting an officer charges. Authorities said the group hit unlocked vehicles in the Richmond Place subdivision on October 20 and 21st.
Laptops, GPS devices and sports equipment were taken from vehicles. Deputies believe the stolen goods were worth between $3,000 and $6,000.
Deputies said the group admitted to targeted unlocked vehicles and urged non-victims to learn a lesson: lock your vehicles.
Stolen items will be returned to owners, the department said.
