Three arrested in Baker narcotics investigation
BAKER - Narcotics agents in Baker arrested three people after they said an investigation and traffic stop turned up hundreds of pills and thousands in cash.
Agents arrested John McKneely, Keirsten McKneely and Tiawanga McKneely of Baker earlier this week.
Bake Police Chief Mike Knaps said the agents were conducting surveillance at a commercial location when they saw John McKneely's vehicle arrive. They stopped him, and said they found more than 350 doses of hydrocodone and roxycodone as well as more than $400 in cash in the vehicle.
Agents said they searched the location further, and found an additional 267 doses of hydrocodone, 33 doses of soma and more than $32,000 in cash.
All three McKneelys were booked into the EBR Parish Prison on narcotics charges.
