Three adults, found with kids at meth lab, arrested
NEW IBERIA, La. (AP) - Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office narcotics agents arrested three adults found with two children this week inside a working methamphetamine lab.
Agents found the lab inside a mobile home Wednesday in a mobile home park in Iberia Parish, sheriff's spokesman Ryan Turner told The Advocate of Baton Rouge.
Acting on a tip, narcotics agents found the children, ages 8 and 10, with their 28-year-old mother and two men. The children and two agents were exposed to toxic fumes inside the lab, Turner said.
Firefighters rinsed them off at the scene and all four were hospitalized for further treatment as a precautionary measure, Turner said.
