Threats prompt extra patrols at area high school Monday
PONCHATOULA- Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's deputies are expected to be on the Ponchatoula High School campus Monday.
ActionNews17.com, a community news website serving Tangipahoa and the Florida Parishes, reports deputies will be "highly visible" after threats were made to the school.
WDSU TV in New Orleans also reports threats were made on the social media site Facebook.com.
School leaders say issues have been addressed and school is planned, as usual Monday.
Some students may be interviewed by investigators.
