Thousands lost power in Assumption Parish in wake of tornado, storms
ASSUMPTION PARISH - Over 8,000 people are out of power in St. John the Baptist Parish, tuesday night.
Nearly 3000 people are still in the dark in Assumption Parish.
Over 900 people in St. James Parish are out of power, and about 1400 people in Iberville Parish are still in the dark.
Earlier in the day, outages have been observed in East Baton Rouge Parish, Ascension and Livingston, but many of those customers are already coming back online.
