PLAQUEMINE- About two hours after a mysterious power outage, most people have had electricity restored.

Something happened at a substation, leaving thousands along LA 1 in the dark. From Plaquemine to Brusly, people didn't have power Wednesday night.

Crews were able to find the issue, and restore power at about 9 p.m.

Important services like emergency call centers and water systems were on generators during the outage.
