Thirty minutes added to school time because of missed days
CLINTON- Students attending public schools in East Feliciana will stay in school longer to make up days missed from a winter storm in January.
Students will attend school on February 28 and March 5th. Also, school hours will be extended by 30 minutes for 37 school days.
Schools will dismiss at 3:15 from Monday, February 10 to Friday, April 4.
Weather closed school for five days recently.
"This will give our students and staff more time to make-up valuable instructional days and times to continue preparations for our upcoming 2014 High Stakes Spring Testing," said Superintendent Henderson Lewis.
