Third man charged in fairgrounds shooting
BATON ROUGE- A man suspected of shooting another man during a planned drug deal is behind bars.
Detetives caught Ronald T. Lockett, 19, Jr in Ascension Parish and booked him as a fugitive from East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office. He will return to EBR and booked for second-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon.
Investigators believe it was a drug deal at the 17300 block of Airline Highway. A 17-year-old was killed.
Two other men have been charged in the crime. Christopher Gray, 20, is charged with second-degree murder and conspiracy to commit armed Robbery. Bodrick Tremaine Tuggle, 18, is charged with second-degree murder and armed robbery.
The incident is still under investigation.
