Thieves target high school in Tangipahoa Parish
PONCHATOULA - Students and faculty returned to a Tangipahoa Parish high school Friday to find their building burglarized.
School janitors notified deputies of the incident this morning at Ponchatoula High.
The suspects reportedly broke through several doors and windows to enter the building.
Detectives are still processing items stolen from classrooms and offices. They are also reviewing surveillance video from the building.
The sheriff's department has offered a reward for information leading to an arrest.
