BAKER - Howard Ward and Cathy Page from the Baker Fire Department join J.P. on 2une In to talk about S.A.F.E. Initiative.

Here are some tips to protect your home and your family from potential fires.

1) Test smoke alarms monthly and change batteries twice a year.

2) Have a Carbon Monoxize (CO) alarm to alert you if levels are rising.

3) Have a fire extinguisher in your home. It can help stop most small fires.

The Baker Fire Department is providing and installing free combo smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, as well as fire extinguishers to the residents of Baker. Contact the fire department at 775-3712 for more information.
