The most graphic of medical mistakes
BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA- A man is suing a hospital, doctors and others for what was supposed to be a procedure for circumcision that turned into one of the most outlandish medical mistakes.
His penis was mistakenly amputated.
Johnny Lee Banks says he went to Princeton Baptist Medical center last month for the circumcision and when he awoke his penis was gone.
He says he's suffered extreme pain and his wife is also suffering. He's seeking an unspecified amount of money.
The hospital declined to comment.
