ALEXANDRIA- A female bank employee is listed in critical condition, still recovering after she was shot during a hostage situation in rural central Louisiana Tuesday.

LeDean McDaniel survived with injuries, Jay Warbington was killed and Patricia White was released hours before Fuaed A. Ahmed, 20, shot her coworkers. All three worked at the Tensas State Bank in St. Joseph, a small town along the Mississippi River in Tensas Parish.

KNOE TV in Monroe reported their names Wednesday, hours after the attack.

State Police said Ahmed, who was once a student at LSU, entered the bank with the intention to inflict harm and never planned it as a robbery.

The standoff lasted for about twelve hours until he shot the remaining two hostages and then was shot and killed by troopers.
