Raising Cane’s is one of the most popular restaurants in Baton Rouge. Now, they also have one of the most popular Facebook pages in the city.
The page, which boasts more than 80,000 self-proclaimed "Caniacs," uses its Facebook clout to promote contests and community projects, as well as interact with fans.
“Social media gives that interaction, that two way communication that can engage our customers and let them tell us what they think, and then we can respond to it,” said Julie Perrault with Raising Cane’s Public Relations.
Cane’s has even used their Facebook page to help out crew members in need.
“We recently utilized Facebook for a blood drive for one of our own crew members who is battling Leukemia,” said Perrault. “In a matter of hours, we had over 100 people come to our Baton Rouge office and donate blood and sign up for our bone marrow drive.”
The multiple faces behind the Cane’s Facebook say their goal is to continue promoting "One Love" to all of their faithful followers.
