Texas A&M takes down top-seeded Vandy in SEC Tourney
HOOVER, Al. - Texas A&M pulled off the first upset of the SEC Baseball Tournament with a 5-0 win Wednesday evening vs Vanderbilt.
Aggie hitters Hunter Melton(second inning), Cole Lankford(fourth inning), and Troy Stein(sixth inning) all homered in the spacious Hoover Metro Stadium to propel A&M to an upset over the nation's top ranked team. Altogether, the Aggies racked up five runs on nine hits and only allowed three hits to the Commodores.
Texas A&M will play the winner of the #4 South Carolina-Mississippi State game; Vanderbilt will play the loser of the same game.
