Terror Risk Up for Americans Overseas
The risk of anti-American violence world-wide was raised with the death of Osama bin Laden and the State Department issued a global travel warning that Americans should take precautions and maintain vigilance. It says al-Qaida and other groups are planning terrorist attacks against U.S. interests in Europe,Asia, Africa and the Middle East. The attacks could be suicide operations, assassinations, kidnappings, hijackings and bombings. The State Department says be mindful of attacks on transportation systems and tourist infrastructure.
