Terrebonne Parish sheriff's deputy killed in wreck
HOUMA - An off-duty Terrebonne Parish sheriff's deputy was killed in a motorcycle wreck.
Taylor Segura, a veteran of the sheriff's office, was traveling eastbound on Bayou Gardens Boulevard near Southland Mall.
State Trooper Evan Harrell says Segura hit the driver's-side door of a vehicle pulling out of the parking lot around 8 p.m. Thursday.
Harrell says state police are investigating the crash.
