Teen's body recovered from Miss. River
The body of a Tallulah teenager has been sent to the New Orleans Coroner's Office for an autopsy, and officials are still investigating the actual cause of her death.
Officials recovered the body of 17-year-old Jacqueline Foster shortly after 2 a.m. Thursday.
Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Capt. Alan Bankston says Foster and her father were fishing from a boat in the Mississippi River backwater in Madison Parish near the Delta community, when the teen fell overboard.
