JACKSON- Two teenagers face charges after a girl at the high school here reported the two boys tried to rape her last week.
Jacobe Johnson, 18, and Breeon Lee, 18, were charged with attempted aggravated rape. They were booked Monday. Lee was 17 when he was taken to jail but turned 18 Tuesday, the next day.
Limited information was provided, but Fred Allen from Jackson Police said the incident happened at East Feliciana High School.
The school board said Wednesday, it was dealing with "a matter involving allegations of an inappropriate contact between students." The system said it is working with police and would not comment further since the matter involves juveniles.
