Two teens were arrested after an armed robbery in a parking garage at the Perkins Rowe shopping center in Baton Rouge.

It happened Saturday, Jan. 16 around 9:45 p.m. according to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office.

Deputies say a woman was walking to her car when she noticed a pickup truck following her. After she got in her car, deputies say 18-year-old Roydriecus Harris and 18-year-old DeMarcus Brown knocked on the window with a gun and demanded money.

The woman pushed cash through a crack in her window before backing her car out of the parking space and getting away, according to investigators.

Brown and Harris were arrested after deputies say witnesses identified the truck they were driving. Investigators say they found the gun used in the robbery inside.

Both men are charged with armed robbery. Harris is also charged with illegal possession of a firearm.
