Teenage girl implicated in connection with small town murder
PONCHATOULA- Two people have been arrested, including a 16-year-old girl, for a murder in this quiet Tangipahoa Parish town.
Greg McGary, 50, was shot in the face on May 23rd and died a few days later.
Rashad Evans, 34, was arrested and charged with second degree murder and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
Police said Thursday, the teenager was arrested for principal to commit armed robbery and was booked into the Florida Parishes Juvenile Detention Center.
"Due to the offender being a juvenile, we are not allowed to release any additional information," Lt. Mark Perrin said.
The shooting happened on North Baronne Street.
