Teen shot in hunting accident continues to recover
LIVONIA - A teen shot in the head during a hunting accident is doing better than expected, according to his father.
He said Brandt Torres, 15, was able to come home from the hospital Tuesday. He said his son was also talking a little bit, and would be starting therapy soon.
Torres was accidentally shot in the back of the head by another teen during a duck hunting trip in the Grosse Tete Bayou, and had been in a medically-induced coma.
