Teen seriously injured in hit-and-run

WATSON, La.- Louisiana State Police say a teenager is fighting for his life after someone crashed their car into him and took off. It happened late Friday night on LA 16 near Wildwood Road in Watson, La.
State Police identified the victim as 17-year-old Justin Beck, of Denham Springs. Investigators say Beck was walking his bike along the side of the road when he was hit from behind by an unknown vehicle. He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Troopers have not determined what type of vehicle was involved in the crash, but say it would have damage to the front right portion.
