Teen killed, 4-year-old shot in New Orleans
NEW ORLEANS - Police said a teen died and a four-year-old was hurt in a shooting Tuesday afternoon in New Orleans.
Officer Frank Robertson with NOPD said the shooting happened around 3 p.m. at a home in the 6000 block of Boeing Street.
Robertson said both victims were taken to the hospital, where the teen died. He said the child was being treated for a gunshot wound to the arm.
According to WWL-TV, witnesses said at least two masked gunmen showed up at the house, opened fire and fled in two vehicles.
Police haven't released any information about a possible suspect or motive.
WWL reported today's murder adds to the 105 murders which have happened in the past seven months in New Orleans.
