Teen dies in overnight hit-and-run crash
BATON ROUGE - State police say a pedestrian was killed overnight when a vehicle struck him along Burbank Dr.
It happened just after 3 a.m. near the intersection of Burbank and Staring Lane.
Troopers have identified the victim as 19-year-old Tyrone Davis of Baker.
Troopers believe the vehicle may be an early to mid-1980's model Ford F-150 pickup truck. The vehicle may have possibly been repainted to an aqua blue or teal color and will possibly have damage to the passenger side head light and grille area.
The incident remains under investigation, and Troopers urge anyone with any information to please contact Louisiana State Police Troop A (225-754-8500) or their local law enforcement agency.
