BATON ROUGE- An 18 year old has been arrested, accused of raping a 26 year-old woman inside her Stanford Avenue apartment.

Allan Hernandez was charged with aggravated rape and aggravated burglary. Police arrested him just before midnight Friday evening.

Detectives call him a "potential suspect" in another attack on Lee Drive. The 20-year old female victim was able to fight-off the attacker and get away.

"Hernandez was one of several potential suspects who had been questioned and DNA swabbed this week as part of the investigation," police said in a statement Saturday morning.

Both attacks happened at the end of November, and prompted a warning for people who live in parts of South Baton Rouge.

Police said the investigation is not over.
