DONALDSONVILLE - An 18-year-old was arrested Wednesday evening connected to a shooting on St. Patrick Street, the second time they've investigated a shooting on this street in twenty-four hours.

Wednesday, deputies said, Allen Williams shot a 16-year-old male in the face. Tuesday, a deputy was shot by one of three people in a stolen car following a theft of ammunition from the city's Walmart.

The two shootings are unrelated but happened four or five blocks from each other.

Williams is accused of shooting the unidentified teen after an argument over stolen property. The shooting was at the corner of St. Patrick and Front Street. Tuesday, the deputy was shot on St. Patrick near Azalea Drive.

Williams was booked into jail on three counts of attempted second degree murder and illegal use of a weapon. He was given a $550,000 bond on Thursday.
