Teen arrested in Hammond Street shooting
BATON ROUGE - Police in Baton Rouge have arrested the man they believe is responsible for an August 25 shooting on Hammond Street.
19-year-old Jordaiz McElwee is accused of shooting into a group of nine people during a brawl.
According to reports, McElwee pulled out a gun and fired three shots, hitting one person in the foot.
McElwee faces charges of attempted first-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon.
