Teen accused of armed robbery
BATON ROUGE - A 19-year-old accused of robbing a Baton Rouge business at gunpoint is now behind bars.
Police say on Sept. 30, Bianca Shelton walked into High Styles Fashion on Plank Road armed with a handgun and demanded cash.
Investigators said an employee of the business gave Shelton $300, but a second employee then grabbed the gun from Shelton before she fled the store on foot.
Police later said they arrested Shelton at a school she attends. She was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison and charged with Armed Robbery.
