GONZALES- A teenager accused of murder will head back to court Friday. Attorneys are trying to get the case against Jacob Westbrook, 16, moved to a different location.

Westbrook is facing second-degree murder charges in the death of 18-year-old Todd Toups back in October.

According to Ascension Parish Sheriff Jeff Wiley, Toups was picking up his homecoming date from Cobb's Trailer Park when he was attacked by Westbrook. Toups tried to push Westbrook off of him in self-defense, but was stabbed in the process. He later died at the hospital.

Prosecutors have said Westbrook will be tried as an adult.
