Teacher tenure back before B.R. judge
BATON ROUGE - State teacher tenure and salary laws are back in the hands of a Baton Rouge judge.
Judge Michael Caldwell heard new arguments Friday on the revamp of the laws he had ruled unconstitutional.
He said there were too many items bundled together in one law.
The Louisiana Supreme Court vacated that decision and sent the case back to Caldwell.
Caldwell says he'll issue his decision January 8.
