Amazon.com's e-reader, the Kindle, is going away from Target's 1,700 stores and its website. Target says the decision is based on the evaluation of the prices and the quality of its merchandise. Target started selling the Kindle two years ago. The move comes as Target takes steps to create mini shops of Apple products in 25 of its stores this year. Apple's iPad remains the most popular tablet with more than 55 million sold since its debut two yeas ago.
