Tannehill, former Tiger Landry lead Dolphins over Bills
MIAMI GARDENS, FL - Ryan Tannehill shook off five sacks and a third-quarter deficit, throwing for two late touchdowns to help the Miami Dolphins break a streak of three consecutive losses to Buffalo with a 22-9 win Thursday.
Tannehill went 26 for 34 for 240 yards and threw touchdown passes of 7 yards to Brandon Gibson and 8 yards to Jarvis Landry. Lamar Miller rushed for 86 yards for the Dolphins, who trailed 9-3 before out-scoring Buffalo 19-0 over the final 18 minutes left.
Landry finished the game with five catches for 56 yards and a TD. He played for LSU from 2011-13, compiling 137 receptions for 1,809 yards and 15 touchdowns during that span. The rookie was drafted in the second round of the 2014 NFL draft.
The Dolphins improved to 6-4, their best record after 10 games since 2008. The Bills, trying to end a 14-year playoff drought, fell to 5-5 with their second loss in a row.
