Tangipahoa's naked "Spiderman" arrested
ABITA SPRINGS- A man on the run from authorities in Tangipahoa was apprehended after a bizarre chase one parish over, in St. Tammany.
John Edward Green, 33, took deputies in a four-hour long foot chase, ActionNews17.com reported. Green is knick-named the "spiderman Burglar" since he is accused of climbing onto rooftops and burglarizing businesses in Hammond.
Green was spotted in St. Tammany Thursday and stripped as he attempted to flee. Deputies said he broke into a church in an attempt to hide. A K9 found him in a bus.
But, Green kept running and eventually jumped into a river where he is accused trying to drown a K9 and a human deputy. Once he was nabbed, Green was booked with a list of charges including attempted murder of a police officer.
