BATON ROUGE - The LSU baseball game has been on the minds of sports fans all week. The LSU Tigers will take on the Oklahoma Sooners tonight for the first game of the Baton Rouge Super Regional.

The game at Alex Box Stadium is sold out, but tailgaters, tickets or not, have been camped out all day long.

"We're barbecuing and hopefully celebrating an early victory," said Jodie Faulk.

Campers, tents and flags are proudly displayed around the stadium, as sports fans kick back, with baseball on their minds.

"We're going to win, that's all I can say," said Shirley Arceneaux. "We've got a job to do, and we're going to do it."

The ticket office says there's a chance a few more standing room tickets will go on sale just before the game. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
