BATON ROUGE - Lawmakers held a public meeting today in Baton Rouge to discuss links between mental health and recent gun massacres.
The goal of the symposium is to find possible solutions to get mental health treatment for those who need it most.
The speakers include Congressman Bill Cassidy (R-LA) and state Senator Sharon Weston Broome (D-Baton Rouge), as well as members of the law enforcement community and others.
News 2's Olivia Laborde will have more on the problems and solutions discussed tonight.
